This is a management level role that will focus on talent acquisition, talent development and strategic implementation of HR policies and procedures for a large, global matrix organization.  The Japan HQ is located in central Tokyo but the company has adopted a remote-working policy that allows all employees to have a combination of both on-site and off-site working schedules so this role will help facilitate that policy and implement initiatives to encourage engagement and employee development.

• Operations experience as a HRBP within a global, matrix organization (over 300 people)
• People management experience and strategic HR implementation experience
• Clear understanding of recent employment laws and practices for Japan
• Experience with talent acquisition, vendor management and ATS systems
• Experience with employee development and training
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and upper management
